I live in a college dorm and want to label the kitchen apliences. The label tape leaves a sticky mark when you take it off. Is there something i can use that doesn't do that? if not, is the sticky stuff easy to get off?

I can't think of anything that would stay on a kitchen appliance without using some kind of adhesive. But if you don't want to leave that big of a sticky mark, try using the sticky rubber dots to label points on an appliance (I don't know the right name for them). Otherwise, I'd try using rubbing alcohol and a paper towel to wipe off the sticky marks. That's just my primitive way, there are probably better, although more expensive ways to get rid of it.

I doubt that as long as whatever you chose to label the appliances with was unobtrusive, that there would be an issue. I use high marks to label my stove and such for that very reason. The dot is clear and will not interfeer with anyone in the future's using the device.

I always thought that Hi Marks was a bright orange in color. There is a product called Goo Gone that you can use to get sticky stuff off. I've seen it years ago in hardware stores.

I just scrub it off or my favorite thing to do which is to rub it off with my finger nails. Yes, unplug first. However, I don't know anything that you could use that isn't sticky.
